The protagonists of this seventh edition of The Look Suspended, special program curated by Elisabetta Di Sopra, are the works of video art selected by Alessandra Arnò, co-founder of Visualcontainer, an Italian archive designed to promote, distribute and spread the Italian video art in Italy and abroad, developing curatorial projects and promoting cultural exchanges, publications and artistic events. In fact more and more young artists express their art using the most modern means offered by technology.
Video art allows the viewer to immerse themselves in a powerful union with the artistic experience, looking with new eyes a space that is routinely ignored in its potential. This year’s selection embraces both the most extreme experimentation linked to digital and synthetic scenarios relationship with technology, since the return to narrative and classic experiment.
Video presented:
Rides di Flavio Scutti (Italia, 2016, 5’26”)

With a feature of Google Earth you can view, chronologically stratified, all images stored since 2001.
010, di Riccardo Muroni (Italia, 2015,11’11”)
A place without time or space where it is subverted the anthropocentric conception of man, assuming the existence of parallel worlds and universes.
Dreammachine, di Alessandra Caccia (Italia, 2015, 5’16”)
As in a trance, the diagnostic test to which the artist submits becomes an experience of abandonment, dream.
Pic nic, di Barbara Brugola & Trond Arne Vangen (Italia, 2015, 8’00”)
The mise en scene of this “breakfast on the grass” is not at all reassuring, and the bucolic atmosphere suddenly stops …
Slow, di Enzo Cillo (Italia, 2015, 6’33”)
A night-time conversation between a traffic signal, the barking of a dog in the distance, the flashing light of a street lamp, the wind in the leaves.
